Prof. Anis Koubaa

About Me

Anis Koubaa is Professor in Computer Science in Prince Sultan University. He is also Senior Researcher at CISTER/INESC-TEC research center in Portugal and a consultant at Gaitech Robotics in China. He is the Chair of ACM Chapter in Saudi Arabia and Director of Robotics and Internet of Things Lab at Prince Sultan University.

I am ranked the 6th scientist in the computer science disciple among all Tunisian scientists worldwide.

Founding ROS Community in Tunisia

In September 2017, we founded ROS Community in Tunisia. Special thanks for the invitation of IIT of Sfax to provide a seminar on Robot Operating System (ROS) to different researchers and students from IIT and ENIS. We created a Google Group for ROS Tunisia Community, and all ROS-interested people in Tunisia are invited to join. There is a possibility to establish collaboration between Tunisian researchers and Gaitech Robotics in China for ROS experts in Tunisia.
