New organisational and technological paradigms had been proposed in order to reply to these challenges, but new technological challenges come out, especially in organisational infrastructures and knowledge management. This paper will characterise and describe concepts and requirements related to the most common approaches, emphasising its needs about organisational and technological shifts. Identifying such requirements, allows the specification and description of some basic functional services. Finally, it is presented an on-going project related to automatic configuration of high-level communication contents and knowledge sharing.
