QTDEI: Acessibilidade na Web
The Department of Computer Engineering (DEI) of the Engineering Institute of Porto (ISEP), in collaboration with the Master in Computer Engineering (MEI), invites to participate in another lecture, this time with the theme "Acessibilidade na Web", which will take place on May 2nd, at 6pm, at ISEP.
The event will take place in room B203.
Abstract
This presentation aims to provide an introduction to the basics of web accessibility. It will cover the importance of making websites accessible for people with disabilities, the legal requirements for accessibility, and the principles of accessible development. We will also discuss common accessibility barriers and how to address them, as well as tools and resources available to assist with accessibility testing. By the end of the presentation, students will have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of web accessibility and be equipped with the knowledge to create more inclusive and accessible digital experiences.
