Abstract
As the pioneer in AI Care, Sword Health makes world-class care available anytime, anywhere, by combining human clinicians and AI. Starting with physical pain, then pelvic health, and now a complete platform of solutions, Sword is available through more than 3,000 employers, health plans, and public sector organizations, saving those clients an average of $3 in healthcare costs for every $1 invested in Sword. Headquartered in Porto, Sword operates with a dynamic, multifaceted organizational structure where diverse teams collaborate to develop groundbreaking products. Among these, the Research and Systems team plays a pivotal role, driving next- generation technologies and pushing the boundaries of digital health innovation. In this presentation, two team members, Pedro Rodrigues and Rita Sousa, will provide insights into Sword, discuss their team’s challenges, and delve into their technology stack. The session will conclude with a demo of Thrive, Sword's first high-impact product.
