The Department of Computer Engineering (DEI) of the Engineering Institute of Porto (ISEP), in collaboration with the Master in Computer Engineering (MEI), invites to participate in another lecture, this time with the theme “A Novel Approach to Network Traffic Analysis: the HERA tool”, which will take place on March 6th, at 6 pm, at ISEP.

A gestão de risco é uma prática imprescindível na gestão de continuidade de negócio, sendo parte integrante das metodologias para qualquer ambiente (empresarial, crítico, etc.). Essa gestão nem sempre é simples dada a multiplicidade de abordagens e questões práticas inerentes. De acordo com Karl Marx, teoria sem prática é vazia, prática sem teoria é cega (não esquecendo a variação subtil do pensamento de Kant), pelo que uma visão meramente teórica da gestão de risco nem sempre é aplicável na prática por variados motivos. Neste seminário será abordada num contexto prático a gestão de risco e os seus desafios e resultados.
